Abstract Essays: The "One Word Challenge"

In order to counter the slump of a world suffering lastingly from the consequences of the virus and the isolation born of confinement, Arnaud launches in mid-June 2020, through games, the "One word challenge" ("Le défi d'un seul mot"). The idea was simple, whoever would enter the game just had to donate one word. In return, Arnaud committed to writing a text, and to accompany it with a unique visual work for each word.Within a few days, fifty volunteers lent themselves to the game and donated a word. The challenge was launched, and as the work took shape, it snowballed support from thousands of Internet users around these abstract essays.The fifty creations are and will remain freely accessible on social networks. However, this book, like a collection, is intended to offer a unique and deeper way of understanding or (re-) discovering them."You have given me your words.
