Summertime With Friends

This is not your mother's coloring book; this book tells a short story of real kids enjoying themselves on their first day of summer vacation. It also depicts adults I know recalling old times. They're remembering when the lamp post light coming on served as an alarm signal to start making their way inside to wash and prepare for dinner. It lends our minds to a time when everyone was always out the house from sun up until sun down. There were no videos games, no tablets, no cellphones and no looming technology looking to further distract us from simple old fashion fun, laughter and good conversation with family and friends.
