Seymour Reaches the Sky

As a child, I spent many enchanted hours in books recommended by my aunt, a children's librarian. She delighted me with stories from Jane Austin novels as well and enhanced my childhood with magic. When I was sixteen, she sent me a Christmas card of a little mouse snuggled under a patchwork quilt and sound asleep in a squirrel hole in a tree. All you could see were tree trunks as Santa Mouse walked away leaving footprints in the snow. It was so special, I framed it and have it to this day. I enjoy passing on some of that magic in my mouse stories, as well as the importance of my faith.Seymour Reaches the Sky is about a little mouse whose curiosity about God leads him on an exciting adventure. Seymour, a precocious little guy, sets out to find God in the night sky. His journey leads him to believe that he didn't have to go anywhere to reach a conclusion.
