String Finger Theatre, Episode Three: The Lizzie McGuffin Incident

In a side-scrolling two-dimensional world of evil mad scientists and superheroes, there are still people just going about their daily lives and stuff. One such normal person is the triple-threat (Reporter / Private Investigator / Police Detective) Mike. He likes a good day's work, and he especially likes to get paid. Occasionally, he gets a perfectly normal case involving the theft and ransom of avant garde works of art, but this is String Finger Threatre so things aren't as simple as they seem. And, of course, things get wildly unlikely and convoluted from there. Will Mike solve the case? Will he get paid? Inquiring minds want to know. Reproducing the third storyline from the web comic in dead-tree format, this is episode three of STRING FINGER THEATRE.
