Steam Dreams is a collection of short graphic novels Branca's tales 1 & 2 set the scene. The characters appearing in part 1 have their stories told in the different tales. Tomaz Hitler, Kirsch, Branca Weiss. And Pelet Hozemann among others The proposition is that the Arch Duke Ferdinand was not assassinated and the First World War was averted. The Austro-Hungarian Empire instead of collapsing thrived and grew, spreading its restrictive ultra conservative regime on Northern Europe. A Dystopian past?
