Veil: Uncovered and Coming of Age

As a young man, Richard's parents left their cabin to go to work and never returned. All Richard Dean Vale knew was that they worked in a lab somewhere in the mountains. He did not know which mountain or cave system they were held up in. All Vale had was a small chest his mother left for him filled with odd artifacts and a book that, at the time made no sense to him. Day after day for approximately two years Vale read that book and tried to decipher its meaning, hoping that one day he would be able to use it to find his parents.
