Publisher Marketing: Lunacy Sneezed on my Family is mostly about my Mother who fought a powerful mental ailment early on as an adult that lasted for years and then suddenly disappeared for 20 consecutive years. And without warning the powerful crippling ailment would surprisingly reappear and she would battle the ailment until her death. The roots of this book evolve around my Mother when she was just four years old. She lost her parents in a murder/suicide tragedy, one that she witnessed first-hand. This book also contains hoarding snapshots from a home video recorded August 1, 2004, five years before the first ever nationally televised Hoarders show which was released in 2009. After the murder/suicide tragedy, my Mother would develop a mental disorder due to the lack of therapeutic and psychological help that would lie dormant and later manifest itself when she reached her teen years. She left her adopted family at the age of sixteen marrying her high school sweetheart and soon after her life changed forever. My Mother would have five children of her own in a very short period putting her own family in dire straits when she battled harsh mental disorder episodes around the same time every year. This now grown woman would frighten her family in the home, frighten her family inside a car as they travel from city to city. This Mother of five would stay awake four to five day in a row not sleeping at all. Her saving grace is the Lord Almighty and me, her son. I would dedicate my entire life to helping her starting at the age of 8. My own life would be filled with suspense and life-threatening incidents simultaneously. You will read of five life-threatening events in my life every other month with in a year. My life and my Mother's life are perplexing, bizarre, and unique. Our two lives defy unthinkable odds to survive, sustain and maintain while cherishing love and holding on to pride along the way. The most beautiful thing is that my Mother and I share a love that gave us the will to fight to live to tell our story.
